Theatre groups from all over Spain, a child and a musical piece inspired by Les Miserables, make up the program from Saturday 12 to Sunday 27 February at the Civic Center
The thirteenth edition of Traditional Comedy Contest La Palma presents this year with a schedule full of great theater for all lovers of the Cartagena art come to the Civic Center this deputation cartagenera every weekend between Saturday 12 and Sunday, February 27 .
Thirteen years have been enjoying the inhabitants of La Palma in the Comedy Competition at national and international level in the Civic Center in this town because of our theatrical tradition, for this reason along with the opening of the event honors a person is in years past helped to maintain this custom in the town that dates back to the eighteenth century.
In our thirteenth edition of the event have participated twenty companies spread throughout Spain such as Madrid, Toledo, Gijón, Murcia, Valencia, Seville, Palencia and Alicante. The three groups
winners in this contest have been MALAJE ONLY of Seville with the performance of the play When you eat here? of José Antonio Aguilar, LAPSUS-TEATRO Palencia with the performance of the play Oh will my black! Santiago Concha Gijon KONJURO THEATRE the performance of the play At six in the corner of Boulevard Jardiel of Ponce.
The opening of the event starts on Saturday 12 February at 19.00 hours with the presentation of This, together with the tribute to veteran actress Ana Martínez Palma (star of Annie) as free entrance until full capacity. At 20:00 hours representation of the work to competition When you eat here? INCLUDED IN BOND. Outside
contest will represent the children's musical comedy An afternoon at the circus by the theater company Seven Comedians Murcia on Sunday, February 13 at 12.30 hours . The entrance is not included in the bond and the price is 4 euros.
Days 19 and 20 February works are represented in competition "Oh my black! and At six in the corner of Boulevard respectively at 20:00 hours . WORKS BOTH INCLUDED IN BOND.
The works in competition will be represented at public and jury. The jury be composed of members of the School of Dramatic Art Murcia, Murcia Conservatory of Dance and Theatre Now Cultural Association of La Palma.
