The Night Just Before The Forests

How Long Does Tailbone Take To Heal

The Night Just Before the Forests of the Night Just

Theatre Free Version
The Trades A metaphor, a setting, an aesthetic

"The Night Just Before the Forests," is one of the texts representative of the theatrical universe of French playwright Bernard- Marie Koltés, written in 1976. Koltes himself directed this piece in 1977 that was later staged with increasing success throughout Europe and later in Latin America as a classic of contemporary drama.

conceived by Koltes's work as a Pre-text is a long monologue, an authentic voice possessed by masks, feelings, landscapes and multiple stories, a startling and stark reflection on loneliness, misunderstanding, the difficulty of achieving effective communication. Also on the exclusion, immigration and its consequences on the individual and society, many issues that can not be more current, although the work has more than thirty years have been written.

The free version of Theatre of The Trades, a bold and radical adaptation of the Pre-dramatic original text, opens doors to a unique creative imagery and dramatic narrative, adventure a terrible encounter with otherness, the uncertainty of the human spirit to be filled, the existential cry of loneliness and excluded known foreign to the tremor seen in the intimate desire of an individual lost stunned for a hug, a fantastic subjective and suggestive stage, acting as a metaphor and a simultaneous three-dimensional experimental poetic and brutal.

Space
limbotica A street is surreal and explosive space and cornered. Two park benches symbolically imposed in action as the desired location, the possible site of the meeting, the hotel room alone for a while, the mournful station where protected from rain and criminals, washing, cafes, bridges, doors, balconies and all mirrors sordid city.

light blue, always blue, symbolic nuances filters sensory states and emotional stages of the characters, sometimes as support dialogic narrative plot and conflict link, others as a technical resource-plastic manipulated by the actors in action.

The Spectators
-viewers determine which captive-accomplice witness a space surrounded by two tiers front, refusing to yield to be prey-object-subject-in a temporary perceptual "promiscuous" because they contemplate facing each other in a fun and agonizing mark mirror.

Pre-text
The Pre-representational nature of the original text would be interpreted by a single actor, this is placed in a simultaneous strategy embodied by three actors, the drama is articulated in textual three voices, which cloudscape or encounter otherness, divided into three separate universes merging emotionally and existentially the same personage, suggesting imprinting a reading exercise that acting and interpretive desdoblaje reveals the paradox of a character in three players, encoding a stark extraquotidian gestural behavior, the cry of their echoes in cloudscape dynamic and bestial, a terrible and baffling encounter and clash of their otherness.

Actors
Delivered to a rigorous process of training, research and creative strategies, players take on the challenge of multiple ways to conceptualize, create and code new bodies that will enable voice acting and communicate an experimental theatrical poetics, where the aesthetic discourse of the fantastic stage sets in a close dialogue and organic and believable.

In staging the three actors appear on articulating the spatiality of actions that will reveal the strange representation of the same character: The Enforcer, each assuming a beloved institution, mutable and uncertain in same voice choked and sick desire for solitude.

The Character

Me, You and Another, are the characters that trigger and embody any individual in a desperate running lonely street, trapped under the relentless cold rain through the night on his back as a single coat, with indescribable need to find a friend and shout in a single embrace their desire to live, away from the factory, without feeling excluded and foreign .

The Enforcer is an escape character, fragile, fragmented-multiple-fabled-merged-into a dynamic atomized by its inability to be in a living environment where only the desire is longing and hostility throng . Migue

The factory that manufactures fuck ... the fuck not ... look I have an idea, my idea of a union is internationally ... that the international scale very important, I'll explain later ... if not to himself, venting his impotence, his own voice unfolding, questioning everything address the many mirrors that trigger his tormented spirit? ... Mate! ... Mate! ... Mate! ... I do not like what you remember you're abroad ... No doubt it is revealed that another will remain the everyday self trapped in a reality that finds unjust and hostile, hugging shots excluded and sick to survive loneliness. ... I've been looking for someone who was like an angel in the middle of this shit ... and you're here ... and everything else ... I still do not know how I could tell you, why mess, what the fuck, mate, and then always ... rain, Rain, rain, rain ... "The Night Just Before The Forests "Pre-text of French playwright Bernard-Marie Koltes, is an interior monologue and tear existential traffic. It is a sordid journey to the depths of being, is a hymn to love back into the shadows mother, a landscape littered by fallen angels trembling in the chaos of a contemporary indifferent, elusive and exclusive, a metaphor for social criticism and delusional politics, a desperate, determined and vital encounter with essence of nature.

When I look for a room alone for a while,
Another desperate run to everywhere and nowhere.
When time goes back
and not always forward,
You see it around the corner and do your best,
worse, a unique and indispensable companion.

When I do not belong to any site
but knows he is here, being just a foreigner,
Another is just a memory deformed, the forget what happened,
the beginning and end of the cry, thirst and the hug.

When injustice and loneliness engulfs "The Executioner"

intimate celajes dying in the extension of the word bucolic
eclipsing shadows fleeting encounter time
visceral scream filed for three voices which otherness seeing

just want to lie on the grass, mate ... and chao ...

Partial Volume Of Elliptical Head Vessel

"Fat", publicity and the globe light "CHARLYN

By Gilda Matos

light The world has become filisofia of our time and theater of the author Venezuelan Gustavo Ott, winner of Tirso de Molina, reveals the pitfalls and complexities of that world in his "Fat", presented last October at the Palace of Fine Arts under the production of Johnny Rodriguez and address of Elvira Taveras.
With the underlying theme of conflict the feminine gender in the Light world, the staging of "Fat" result set to be an entertaining theatrical performance characterized by novelty.
In the plot, as the "chubby" is used in a connotative sense and significant, is not simply a body overweight, but a liability created by envy, complex, vanity, lust, betrayal, ambition that leads to abandon the values and ethics to locate the image éxtito surface.
light world dictates the rules of behavior and beauty for women today, in a seemingly "healthy" consumerism that is hidden in body and soul devouring the lives of many women in the workplace, especially in advertising marketing environment. Except
Yamilé Scheker actress and very coincidentally, most of the actresses who represent the characters in this book from the environment and television advertising, which is an advantage for the interpretation, aside from her remarkable talents and showed great development in the scene, as were the cases of Hony Estrella, Georgina Rubio Chachita Duluc and an ideal cast for represetar perhaps some of their own stories.

Elvira Taveras brings a show to date with technology and functional set design which integrates tasteful use of these resources, not as an ancillary, but as a central means of dramatic narrative.
defined as a satirical comedy in various media, comes in a more realistic, nuanced accents at times dramatic and revealing an intention of the background and circumstances of the characters who are struggling in the fierce competition confict they are pushed the women in their desire to possess the world's congratulations light: beauty, power, recognition, money and sex in abundance.
If anything was shocking in this staging, was the projection of a real-world advertisement in the passing from the scene, which, however, is justified in the context of the work.

"Fat" shows how many women have masculine behaviors in the competitive world of work and tries to unmask the advertising world, but his characters are trapped in it, in the world of frivolity and interests ... The dictatorship of Light world!

CHARLYN was the great revelation of the Festival Theatre National Theatre of the Dominican Republic, 2010.

The monologue written, acted and directed by Stalin Rafael Morla is a scathing portrait, Ironically, sour and cruel of human existence in modern times. The piece reveals the essence and philosophical dilemmas of the reality of "Being" of today.

The genius of this theater piece is in dramatic conflict, presents a revolutionary revolt and exiled to the closure of a toilet against the empire of consumerism called "Mafia Propa " from this situation reflects contradictions convincingly on philosophical, psychological and policies today. The author provides a speech nonchalantly risk using the word "stool" with all verbal modes, without ridicule or in bad taste, rather, leads and brings the whole rotten world that we reveals, and almost managed to convince us, that " The world is a huge crystal ball full of excrement."

fable from The story I

The original work "Ooniia or the path of the sun ", the Puerto Rican writer Amilcar Aguilú Cintron is a narrative that articulates literary timeless. Ooniia, character around which the story unfolds, has its stages crossing between parallel universes. His past-present-future is represented in a simultaneous multiple experiences encountered, waking revealed between passages from memory, despite the reality, energetic contact with nature and importance of higher states of knowledge.

dramatic adaptation to first determine fully respect and maintain the original story, for all the poetic beauty contained in its narrative resources, raw materials which would produce our vision stage.

Aware that we were dealing with a text away from formal theatrical structures, we proposed an exercise of dialogue and dramatic translation, identifying the times and the descriptive stage, to thereby place the multiple narrative and symbolic spatiality of the text, recreating analogies and equivalence in a parallel embodiment in place represent extra hidden everyday gestures of the word.

We were interested in creating a new body acting owned by the actress, who translated the codes in that gesture, reinventing and revealing imagery and playfulness in his narrative, opening and proposing viewers a visual imaginary stream, where the playful, the physical and the object, trigger a bridge in sensitive and amazement dilated, leading that connect sensory and perceptual, that strange, terrible and familiar to the human drama that takes us back to visceral and vital.

SATURATED MOVING THE THEATRE CELESTINA Gayumbo IN NATIONAL THEATRE FESTIVAL

BY GILDA MATOS

Gayumbo Theatre presented its version of La Celestina in the Dominican National Theater Festival in the line of interpreting classics of the English Golden Age dominicanizados, simply and for all age groups .

The group is one of the most representative companies of the theater craft in the trend of popular theater, with a distance of more than 30 years in an aesthetic that is characterized by originality in interpreting the classics of the English Golden Age as Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, Cervantes and Lazarillo, with which it has transcended international level by participating in major theater festivals in the world.

The success of their performance was marked by brilliance, simplicity and extraordinary ability to retain the essence of the works of classical authors, making our time more enjoyable and digestible to the Dominican Republic and Latin America.
The presentation of this assembly may notice some differences and similarities in the form of address Gayumbo classic English Golden Age in previous experiences.

METHOD:

The company is one of the most faithful exponents of the Theatre Brecht in the country, its mise en scene is based on the theory of alienation through reasoning expressed in the resources of stories, songs and expository mode of representing the characters in his shows. In the Celestina, presented at the festival, these elements were only partially.

narrative saw the characters of The Troubadour and Sempronius, played by Carlos and Manuel Chapuseaux, respectively.

However, the central character in the play, epitomized by Nives Santana, followed a different direction, closer to the truth, looking for the human side of La Celestina, bordering the circumstances inside a battered old and unprotected. Nives

plays a being justifies selfishness and greed are looking for financial security at any price, safety denied by society. This way of representing the character broke the harmony of logic Brecht's "reveal" instead of "being" the character.

TEXTUAL FITNESS

Gayumbo theater had got the better to adapt classical texts, because of cleverly has managed to transcend, or at least preserve the essence of them, however, this time, faces the choice of excluding from the scene some important characters to the plot or replace by puppets and voice-overs, as is the case Melibea and Callisto, an action that apparently limited understanding and strength scenic key dramatic event in the play.

also different from the Celestina tradition mythologizes as "a bearded old is dize Celestina, witch, cunning, shrewd in quantas evil and plenty of spells known, Gayumbo stage shows a sustained Celestina slow and lame that is diminished compared to the character of Sempronius, a wretched servant and accomplice of lying to trick fools in love. Contrast

therefore the concept of the character of La Celestina, Gayumbo conceived in relation to the original work. The central conflict of the lovers and Celestina becomes a secondary element, against which the director role at Sempronius, who with his magnificent gesture, agility and grace, seems to become the central character, as opposed to design intimate of La Celestina in this release.

The PUBLIC

The audience received with great care and without empathy history of the English author Fernando de Rojas in Gayumbo version for lovers of dramatic literature was a pleasure to hear a text has been understood, without further moments of interaction and play with the audience but with ease, expertise, and precision cleaning stage.

The great merit of Gayumbo Theatre in this production, is precisely to have fought in some way with their own tradition, to be faithful to the essence of the work, offering a new version that does not deny the author, but proposes to a new look, beyond the gaze of the audience.
