TATEHIKO GOTO Santo Domingo brings art education recycling ideas and creativity from materials found in the city. The Japanese artist presents a novel way creative vision of "art object" that intervenes with their hands in order to produce aesthetic works by forking paths of the imagination in the realization of two-and three-dimensional objects, in spite of the apparent naivety of everyday images presented, awakens the senses, surprise and delight.
all started one day in Japan 30 years ago, by chance, observing the clothes pegs on the table in the house. The artist says: "I felt a strange feeling" ... That simple act was a great encouragement to his creative imagination. Thereafter, he began a long career that led him to exhibit their work inside and outside the country, with important exhibitions in New Delhi and the Yokohama Museum of Art, being recognized seventeen times, for the Grand Prize Exhibition .
Today, Santo Domingo is the theme and setting of his creations with objects found in the streets, buildings and costs of our city.
